Meghan Markle launches an Advent calendar for 130 euros: this Christmas box "As Ever" which is already panicking

A Los Angeles chocolatier, a snowy Californian house and the golden signature of the Duchess of Sussex: the Meghan Markle Advent calendar is not like the classic boxes you find on the shelves. Under her lifestyle brand As Ever, Meghan Markle focuses on an object that is both indulgent, very visually crafted and considered a luxury product.

The principle remains the one we know: 24 boxes to open from December 1 to 24, but filled with artisanal chocolates inspired by the duchess’s life in Montecito. Launched on October 1, 2026, this calendar is already arousing curiosity and debate around its high price and the fact that it is reserved, for the moment, for customers based in the United States.

A very gourmet chocolate box, signed As Ever and Compartés

The Advent calendar designed by Meghan Markle contains 24 chocolates created in collaboration with Compartés, a renowned chocolatier based in Los Angeles. Each piece incorporates flavors already present in As Ever jams and spreads: strawberry, raspberry, blackberry or orange are available here in ganaches and pralines. A dark chocolate truffle with intense ganache, already award-winning, serves as the centerpiece, while a chocolate takes on the flowers that visually accompany the brand’s universe.

The object is not satisfied with the content. The midnight blue box represents the Montecito house under the snow, including palm trees and chickens in the garden, as in the images already seen of the couple. The numbers in each box are in Meghan Markle’s handwriting, then reproduced with edible gold leaf. This detail transforms the calendar into a decorative object as much as a tasting experience, designed to remain displayed prominently throughout Advent.

Price, delivery and availability: what the Meghan Markle Advent calendar really costs

The As Ever box is priced at 148 dollars, or around 131 euros at current prices, with 24 chocolates inside. The price therefore comes to a little more than 6 dollars, around 5.40 euros, per piece. This positioning clearly places the product in the high-end category, well above mass-market chocolate calendars and closer to the limited editions offered by luxury houses.

Pre-orders opened on October 1, 2026, directly on the As Ever website and via the brand’s Instagram account, for deliveries announced at the beginning of November. The time window is calculated so that the box can be offered or installed at home before December 1st. Delivery is free, but only within the United States: no international shipping is planned at the moment, which leaves Meghan’s French admirers dependent on a relay address in the United States.

From Montecito to the Cotswolds, via Buckingham: an already symbolic object

With As Ever, Meghan Markle positioned herself on everyday products related to the home and kitchen, from jams to table accessories. This Advent calendar is part of this continuity, while marking a first foray into artisanal chocolate. Significantly, the Duchess now lives in the United Kingdom, in the Cotswolds, but continues to highlight Montecito as the main setting for her brand storytelling.

Faced with this launch, the media often compare another seasonal product: the Advent calendar offered by the Royal Collection Trust, inspired by Buckingham Palace, reusable and to fill yourself. On the one hand, an ephemeral box of chocolates, very personal and limited, centered on the world of Meghan Markle; on the other, a heritage object linked to the royal institution. The As Ever calendar is clearly aimed at fans of the Duchess and lovers of exceptional chocolate, with stock announced as limited which could quickly slip through the fingers of American collectors.
