Yes, 5 kilos in 10 days. No, I did not follow a miracle program, I did not do extreme fasting or a wacky diet found on a corner of Tiktok. I simply relearn to listen to my body, to eat better, and to make more conscious choices. Spoiler: it changes everything.
1. I learned to listen to my “real” hungry
Before, I was eating because it was “time to eat”. Noon ? Hop, a plate. 8 p.m.? Same thing, even if I was not really hungry. By changing this reflex, I changed everything. Today, I always wonder: am I really hungry or is it just a habit? If the answer is no, I do not force.
In the evening, for example, I often be satisfied with a broth or a soup if I have no appetite. And surprisingly, I sleep much better. My body is resting, my digestion too. Result: I get up more in shape, less bloated, more serene.
2. I replaced my breakfast with a matcha latte
In the morning, I was rather the type to snack on cakes in the morning. I replaced all of this with a matcha latte with oat milk (0% vanilla syrup supplement for gluttony). This little ritual has become my best ally: it helps me cut my sugar desires, keeps me perfectly in the belly until noon, and gives me a small boost of energy without bumping my nerves like coffee.
Matcha is also known to regulate appetite, and in my case, it’s 100% true. I feel more stable, less subject to the cravings of 11am, and I have the impression that my body fits better. It is a simple change, but which had an immediate impact on my way of starting the day.
3. I went to an ultra clean diet
On the meal side, I sorted. I reduced my quantities (yes, even if they were healthy foods, I ate too much), and I removed too fatty or too sweet foods such as cheese, cakes, ready -made sauces, cold meats … but also alcohol, and sugary drinks. Instead? Vegetables, fish, quinoa, fresh fruit, herbs, spices (lots of spices!), Sparkling water and even a few light house sauces.
I also found substitutes for everything I missed: corn pasta, oil -free mayonnaise (or egg) … little by little, my palate re -educated. I want less sugar, fewer food impulses. It’s a new way to eat. A healthier, more intuitive way, more respectful of my body.
Small change, big impact
Losing 5 pounds in 10 days is impressive. But what marks me the most is the feeling of well-being. Less cravings, more energy, a better quality sleep, a refined silhouette, and above all … a crazy motivation to continue.
It is not a miracle, it is a lifestyle. And now that I have seen what it gives, I don’t plan to go back.
