It took me a month. Thirty days, not one moreto see a silhouette that I no longer recognized. It did not happen by magic, nor with an overpriced subscription to the gym. Just five minutes a day. Without sweating, without signing me. But with an almost military regularity.
The starting point: an surprisingly simple method
This method is that of Kenichi Sakumaa Japanese coach who made himself known for having accompanied international models with stunning results. Contrary to imagine, his method has nothing to do with series of abs or exhausting cardio sessions. Here, there is talk of static postures, breathing and muscle alignment.
The idea is simple: reactivate deep muscles (especially those in the basin and the abdominal strap) thanks to specific exercisesmade for five minutes every day. According to him, if some people cannot lose weight despite the diets, it is because their posture is unbalanced. Result: essential muscles for burning fats are not used. The body compensates, dismay, and stores.
Concretely, the Sakuma method offers 5 exercises to repeat daily. Each movement is maintained 30 to 60 secondstaking care to take out the muscles concerned. No jump, no weight, no machine. The most complicated, ultimately, is to perform the gesture well.
What is happening after a few days
The first effects are not spectacular … but they are there. From the first weekI felt a form of lightness. A more straight posture, a less swollen belly when you wake up, and above all: motivating regularity. Because we are not talking about a 45 -minute program here to fit between two meetings, but a five -minute ritual that you can do in the leap from the bed, in pajamas, without equipment.
After two weeksthe balance started to move. Minus 3 kilos. Without radically changing my diet. I just ate more slowly, drin more water, and removed the evening snacks. The rest is the method that did it.
What I understood is that these movements work on the postural muscles that we abandon completely in our daily life. We relearn to engage the lower abdomen, to contract the glutes correctly, to align the back. And this refocusing has a chain effect : We breathe better, we digest better, we sleep better.
What I really won after a month
After 30 daysthe verdict was final: -8 kga more toned silhouette, a less bloated belly and above all, a body that I felt again aligned. Not just physically, but also mentally.
I wouldn’t say that the Sakuma method is miraculous. But it is formidably effective for those who have neither time, energy, nor the desire to embark on classic sports sessions. It fits without pain in a routine. And that’s all its strength.
Of course, you have to be constant. Five minutes a day, every days. But it is a tiny effort compared to the comfort that is won. Even today, I continue. Not by obligation, but because it has become a habit. An anchoring. And every time I get there, I think back to the mirror that morning. And I tell myself that I did well to start.
