You walk through the paved streets of Montmartre. The fog of one morning in 1899 flirts with the first notes of a piano of Cabaret. A silhouette split the scene. No doubt, something is preparing.
A series in line with the great historical frescoes
Montmartre aims to be a new ambitious fresco for TF1, in continuity of success like the bazaar of charity or the fighters. Produced in co -production with Disney+, the series took place in 1899 in the emblematic district of the cabaret and embarked the viewer in a Paris that is both flamboyant and ruthless.
We follow celestial, Cancan dancer in a Montmartre cabaret, driven by the events to become the first Paris stripper. Between rivalries, passion, artistic issues and fate reversals, Montmartre promises to be a total spectacle.
The cast follows the same CAP: Victor Meutelet embodies Arsène, automotive engineer with interior dilemmas; Claire Romain gives life to Rose, a laundress forced to flee her initial condition. The scenario is signed Brigitte Bémol and Julien Simonet, under the direction of Louis Choquette. TF1 has already unveiled a first trailer and installs Montmartre as one of its big promises for the start of the school year.

Challenges and challenges of the Montmartre series
Tacking a historical fresco is never simple. It imposes requirements: faithful reconstructions, coherent artistic directions, mastery of the vintage atmosphere while keeping a contemporary resonance.
TF1 is not mistaken: Montmartre is presented among its flagship programs, aimed at combining the linear (traditional television) and streaming via TF1+ and Disney+. Faced with a fragmented audience, this double strategy is a bet.
The challenge for Alice Dufour is also interior: to wear a demanding central role on her shoulders while remaining credible in the smallest nuances. Alongside a solid casting, she will have to assert her height of play.
