This charity evening in an Auvergne castle brings together five women of haute cuisine, and reservations are snapping up

On the heights of Chaudes-Aigues, the Château du Couffour is preparing to host a new Women of Carac’Terre evening. For this third edition, five female chefs from all over France will meet in the kitchens of Restaurant Serge Vieira for a unique dinner, designed as a tribute to the women who make gastronomy. And behind this name, there is much more than just a meal.

Imagined by Marie-Aude Vieira, the initiative highlights those who cultivate, cook, raise, make wine or create, fully assuming their roots in a territory. After two first editions focused on women involved in their region, this new evening promises to bring together culinary know-how, local products and artisanal gestures.

Women of Carac’Terre 2026 in Chaudes-Aigues, the vision of Marie-Aude Vieira

Coming from a family of farmers in Touraine, Marie-Aude Vieira took over Château du Couffour and continues the history of Maisons Vieira with this very personal meeting. On Monday October 12, 2026, she will orchestrate this third edition at the two-star restaurant Serge Vieira, located at the Château du Couffour in Chaudes-Aigues, around a dinner designed as a celebration of know-how and transmission.

This choice to put women at the center resonates with other initiatives in France which salute leaders capable of making their territory shine. The Cher delegation of Women business leaders, for example, distinguished , and its president Nathalie Gauthier summarized her approach in these words, quoted by Le Berry: , she explains. A way of reminding us that these portraits of women echo each other, from the world of business to that of the kitchen.

Five chefs for an exceptional Women of Carac’Terre dinner

At the heart of this 2026 edition, five chefs will compose a menu with several voices, each bringing their signature. The casting brings together profiles already well established in the French gastronomic landscape.

  • Virginie Basselot, Meilleur Ouvrière de France and chef of the Michelin-starred restaurant Le Chantecler, at the Hôtel Negresco in Nice.
  • Nolwenn Corre, head of the Hostellerie de la Pointe Saint-Mathieu, in Plougonvelin.
  • Beatriz Gonzalez, head of the Neva Cuisine and Coretta restaurants in Paris.
  • Élisabeth Hot, former pastry chef at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée and now a trainer at Ferrandi Paris.
  • Nicole Fagegaltier, chef of the Michelin-starred restaurant du Vieux Pont in Belcastel.

Around these five chefs, a constellation of winegrowers, producers and artisans will draw the identity of the table: the winegrowers Sophie Guizard, Nathalie Tollot, Delphine Brulez, Valérie Guérin and Cécile Tremblay, the producer of artisanal oils Adèle Chometon, the breeder and cheese producer Charlotte Salat, the florist Lise Tuzet, the leatherworker Cécilia Picandet from Maison La Griffe and soprano Marie-Hélène Cussac. Already in 2025, the second edition brought together Nicole Fagegaltier, but also figures like Noëmie Honiat, Mercotte, several winegrowers and producers, for a dinner described as a choral work.

A committed evening for Pink October: solidarity and practical information

Organized in the middle of Pink October, this third edition maintains a strong solidarity dimension. Part of the funds raised will be donated to the Clermont en Rose association, engaged in research against breast cancer. Already in 2025, part of the menu price was dedicated to this same association, setting up an event that combines haute cuisine, territory and commitment.

To participate in this dinner offered at $390 per person, food and wine pairings included, reservations are only open by telephone on 04 71 20 73 85, Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. As places are limited, the evening promises to be intimate, supported by the decor of the Château du Couffour, the work of the chefs and the presence of all these women of character.
