Looking for a deodorant capable of neutralizing odors all day long without aluminum can quickly turn into frustration. Many products promise long-lasting effectiveness, but few really deliver on their promises as the day gets longer.
However, certain references sold in pharmacies have recently attracted attention. As part of the Best Pharma Product 2026 ranking, several deodorants were tested by 100 consumers directly in their homes, under real conditions of use. At the end of these tests, only the references obtaining a score higher than 16 out of 20 were distinguished.
Musc Intime, the solid deodorant that dominates the ranking
He is the one who gets the best score in the ranking. Musc Intime’s White Musk solid deodorant reaches a score of 18.71 out of 20.
Its formula is based on 90% ingredients of natural origin and excludes several components often criticized in cosmetics: aluminum salts, baking soda and alcohol.
Despite this minimalist composition, the brand promises protection against odors for 48 hours. To achieve this, the product relies on several targeted active ingredients.
Magnesium oxide and Triethyl Citrate act to neutralize odors. Corn starch and microcrystalline cellulose absorb moisture. Finally, a fragrance with notes of white musk completes the ensemble to leave a feeling of discreet freshness on the skin.
The product is sold at a price of 37 euros for a set of two deodorants.
Centifolia, a refillable deodorant designed for sensitive skin
Another reference highly rated by consumers: the Centifolia refillable stick deodorant, which obtains a score of 17.61 out of 20.
Its particularity lies in its extremely gentle formulation. This deodorant is designed without perfume, aluminum, bicarbonate, alcohol and essential oils. A choice that makes it particularly suitable for sensitive armpits.
The formula is entirely of natural origin and benefits from organic certification according to the Cosmo Organic charter, issued by Ecocert Greenlife. Like the first product in the ranking, this deodorant also promises 48 hours of effectiveness against odors.
Its effectiveness is based in particular on magnesium oxide, Magnesium Carbonate Hydroxide and Triethyl Citrate, which help to neutralize odors. The formula also contains Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, a prebiotic intended to promote the balance of bacteria naturally present on the skin.
This deodorant is sold for 11.90 euros for the 50 gram stick and 9.95 euros for the refill.
Les Bénéfiques, a natural cream formula that appeals to consumers
The third product distinguished in this list is the Les Bénéfiques deodorant, which obtains a score of 16.57 out of 20.
Its formula has a composition of 100% natural origin and contains no bicarbonate, alcohol or aluminum salts. The product is also Cosmos Organic certified by Cosmecert and has an “Excellent” rating on the Yuka app.
Unlike the other two references, it comes in cream form. Application is done by taking a small dab of product, to massage directly under each armpit.
Effectiveness relies on several key ingredients. Magnesium Hydroxide and Magnesium Carbonate Hydroxide work to neutralize odors. Corn starch helps absorb sweat. Terpineol, an aromatic compound present in natural perfume, has antibacterial properties.
This deodorant promises protection for 24 hours and is sold at a price of 16.90 euros for a 50 gram jar.
Are aluminum-free deodorants really effective against odors?
