In front of several hundred people, the sweet dough prepared in the laboratory at L’Arbresle was arranged like a puzzle. The 152 pieces, arriving on 98 plates, were assembled to form a disc 4 meters in diameter.
The creation used the recipe that earned Thomas Dura the 2025 world champion at the Mondial de la Praline, with a rose window inspired by the stained glass window of the Saint-Jean cathedral in Lyon. The operation was part of the Poussineau Festival, under the supervision of a bailiff mandated by Guinness World Records.

To bring this extraordinary pastry to life, more than 600 kilos of raw materials were needed, including 300 kilos of homemade pralines and 150 kilos of sweet dough. A month of upstream work was devoted to preparations and tests.
