A simple audio, but devastating implications. A Whatsapp vocal by Diego El Glaoui, ex-companion of the ex-Miss Univers Iris Mittenaere, was shared by the blogger Aqababe, via his Instagram channel. This message, addressed to her ex-girlfriend Iris herself, reveals a series of behind the scenes aimed at sabotaging the candidacy from Diane Leyre to Miss Universe. As the seconds of the vocal parade, the varnish of the Miss France fairy tale is gaping to make way for a much darker scenario.
Diego’s voice is clear, determined, almost cynical. He accuses Iris of having threatened him to make him a “metoo” if he revealed that she had deceived him with Valentin Lucas. But it is another revelation that has the effect of an earthquake: he speaks of a “ploy” carefully orchestrated against Diane Leyre, with the complicity of a certain “Paola”, in order to make Iris sits in the Miss Universe jury. The objective? Discarding the French candidate, deemed “not the ideal candidate” to carry the world crown.

The old Miss France 2022 has not, for the moment, not reacted publicly to these revelations. However, for many, this vocal has confirmed a diffuse feeling since the announcement of its failure in Miss Universe: that of a form of abandonment or sub-share on the part of the Miss France sphere.
Diego’s words go further: he speaks of “ploy”, a heavy -meaning terminology. This word suggests not a simple preference or opinion, but a concerted action to obstruct Diane Leyre. In a world where glitter often hides fierce influence struggles, this revelation could well break the smooth and apolitical image of the Miss universe.
