International Village of Gastronomy: 10 years of ascent to Concorde
During the first edition, in 2016, only 25 countries responded. In 2025, there were already 63 and more than 50,000 visitors had walked the aisles of the event; for 2026, the Village is targeting more than 80 countries and is taking a symbolic step by setting up on Place de la Concorde, in Paris.
On this new site, the Village offers culinary demonstrations, masterclasses, meetings, debates, concerts and shows, not forgetting the first French Medalist Producers Market. Stéphane Layani, president of the Rungis International Market, remains honorary president, while Italy becomes the guest country of honor, to highlight the transalpine gastronomic heritage and the links between Paris and Rome.

Concretely, the International Gastronomy Village 2026 will be held from September 10 to 13, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Place de la Concorde. On site, the public will circulate between foreign delegations, producer stands and popular kitchens where they will be able to taste dishes from more than 80 countries, represented by teams who have come to talk about their traditions.
Entrance is $7, or $5 for students and CMI card holders, with access remaining free for children under 12. Between chef demonstrations, concerts, debates and farmers’ market, everyone can create their own journey, whether they come with family, friends or to discover new culinary scenes.
