A stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées, a palace terrace has transformed into a den for lobster lovers: The Lobster Club, located at the La Réserve Paris – Hotel et Spa, promises an iodized break in the heart of the 8th arrondissement.

The hotel bar, Bar Le Gaspard, has two terraces for the occasion: a planted patio on the courtyard side and a small terrace on the street side, protected by high hedges and misters for hot evenings.
Two minutes from Place de la Concorde and the Grand Palais, the setting remains surprisingly calm. The terraces reopened in May 2026 and now host the pop-up Lobster Club, lively all summer, with service 7 days a week and access without reservation. The bar opens from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday to Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to midnight Monday and Sunday, with music evenings announced on Saturdays.
A monomaniacal card around the blue lobster
The unique product here is the blue lobster, or Homarus gammarus, from the cold waters of the Atlantic or the English Channel. Its flesh remains firmer than a Canadian lobster and offers more iodine, ideal for palace dishes.
The Lobster Club menu offers this lobster in six preparations: carpaccio with almond milk $39, romaine salad and candied vegetables $69, lobster in brick pastry with cardinal sauce $48, lobster roll (4 pieces) $45, club sandwich and fries $65, lobster pasta $85.
Cocktails, Sumbawa mocktail and accessible palace experience
To accompany these plates, the Lobster Club menu features six signature cocktails between $32 and $34, built around The Macallan Double Cask 12 years old, Brugal 1888, Monkey 47, Italicus or Michel Reybier champagne. We find classics like Paper Plane, Millionnaire n°4, Jungle Bird or Italicus Spritz, echoing iodized cuisine.
Spirits lovers can also choose tastings of whiskeys or rums by the glass, sometimes combined with Kaviari caviar. On the soft side, the Sumbawa mocktail mixes apricot, kaffir lime, lemon verbena, lemon, agave and bubbles for $25, ideal with a lobster roll or a carpaccio to stay under $100 per person.
